Artist Statement
Art, like life, is a constant exploration. As an artist I am in a continuous state of discovery which emerges throughout my work. I started Digital Art at a young age and that inspired me to expand my imagination onto different medium platforms. My experience has spilled over into painting, photography, drawing, illustration, digital media, and much more.

Lately I have been exploring surrealism and how it relates to the human experience. My most fulfilling works of art are those that add a variety of meanings all in one image. My goal as an artist is to capture people’s feelings and lead them onto emotional discovery. My dream is that my art will aid others into a deeper relationship with our Creator.
Biography
Evelyn Mendez is a digital illustrator and oil painter whose work reflects a lifelong passion for creativity and storytelling. Born in Florida and currently based in Acworth, Georgia, Evelyn has created art for as long as she can remember.
Now a graduating senior majoring in Graphic Design at Lee University, Evelyn continues to refine her visual voice, merging technical skill with emotional depth. Her current artistic journey explores the world of surrealism, weaving together imaginative visuals with her Christian faith to create pieces that are both thought provoking and spiritually resonant.
Whether working digitally or with oil on canvas, Evelyn’s art invites viewers into a space where the seen and unseen collide, offering glimpses of wonder, introspection, and grace.
