Love is both infinite and intimate, a force that shapes and binds us. In Of Passion, Grace, and Blood, I explore three expressions of love—Eros, Agape, and Storge—through surreal, intimate figure painting. Using color, symbolism, and close-up compositions, I create emotional landscapes that invite reflection. The love of our creator, represented in each piece.
Eros embodies passion and desire in fiery hues, with butterflies symbolizing love’s fleeting intensity. Storge, the love of family, emerges in soft pastels and floral imagery, celebrating the nurturing bond between mother and child. Agape, the divine love, is depicted in serene blues and golds, the boundless love of God made manifest, calling us to grace, forgiveness, and eternal communion with Him.
This series is an offering—an act of worship through art, a reflection of love’s depth and fragility, its intensity and tenderness, all rooted in His divine purpose. May these works stir the soul, uplift the spirit, and remind us of the love that God has poured into the world.
